Episode 54

3:16

My family was on the way home from Thanksgiving dinner, and we passed Best Buy. We saw a ton of people lined up outside in tents and what not, so I decided to go back with a video camera and see what I could find. I’m not very good at walking up to strangers and conducting witty interviews, but don’t worry - I edited most of the awkward silence out.

As of the initial posting of this podcast, I do not have a 720p version available. It’s exporting right now, but I might not add it. I didn’t plan on having a HD version of every video I add, so we’ll see.

If you’re watching this before 5:00 AM on Friday the 23rd (Central), then these people are all still probably there waiting in line.

I wish you had a full hour of these interviews. seriously. although, i don’t really see the need for a HD version of this one.

The local newspaper shot a video similar to mine, although they had the dedication to come back when the store actually opened. There’s a link to it on their home page (on the right, under Local Videos):

I think you did a great job. My favorite was - you get the tent and the husbands get the chairs, “Yeah that sounds fair don’t it?”

Ah Springfieldians... known for their mastery of the English language.

Betsy, I think in all fairness, she was offering me a “donut.”
