We have a dry-erase board on the fridge, and Courtney and I have quietly developed a game that we havent talked much about. Basically one person writes a short message, and then the other person randomly and secretly changes one word to something else. Then the other person does the same thing.
This is the end result of a message that progressed something like :
I like chocolate
I smell like chocolate
I smell like children
I smell deep-fried children
Courtney wasnt sure if adding a word was legal, but since there arent any rules, I say why not. The game is over when a person laughs out loud at the message. Last night, the game-winning message ended up being: herpes is fabulous.

More importantly it looks like you have a giant fire engine on top of you fridge. Handy in case of fire in the kitchen but that much weight cannot be good for your fridge.

I think this is an awesome idea!

Hi Hayley! Thanks for saying hi. The floors are working out great. We have gotten them quite dirty too, and so far they have cleaned up with minimal trouble (especially minimal for me since Courtney is the one who cleans them up). I am curious to see how they hold up to the summer heat and humidity, since I didnt give the planks enough time to acclimate before installing them. Oh well, well see.
